Curious About April's Produce of the Month?

It wasn't long ago when cucumbers were only available during the summer or were imported. But now, thanks to greenhouse growing technology, they're available year round.

We love them so much that...

April is officially Cucumber Month.

I'm loving this deep dive already! I've been slicing, dicing and tasting recipes for all the videos I'll be sharing on Instagram, Facebook andYouTube this month. Join me and let's chat about:

  • why some are wrapped in plastic
  • how to store 'em so they last longer
  • different cuts
  • tasty recipes
  • and what to do if they go a little soft

Thanks to my Partners!

March's Winner

Thank you to everyone who participated in March's Onion Challenge. I was blown away by the amazing, creative dishes people made with onions. made some creative cabbage dishes and inspired me to try some new ones - I still need to try cabbage steaks!

The winner of our draw is Jeannette S. from Sherwood Park, Alberta. Jeannette shared that she made French Onions Sourdough Bread. Doesn't that sound amazing.

Remember, you don't need to submit a recipe or photo to enter our random draw. Just cook with the produce of the month and tell us about it. It's not a competition, just a friendly encouragment to cook with fresh Canadian produce.

Happy Easter!

Wishing you all the best for a lovely Easter weekend.
